  • Postdoctoral Associate

Outside of the lab, I love a good Netflix or podcast binge, pre-pandemic I used to enjoy exploring Pittsburgh’s many breweries, and post-pandemic I’ve substituted by setting up virtual dinners/game nights with old friends.

    Education & Training

  • Ph.D. in Neurobiology, University of Alabama at Birmingham
  • B.S. in Neuroscience, Rhodes College
Research Interests

My current research centers around characterizing the 12 h rhythmic transcriptome in the brain and how it’s altered in schizophrenia.

I use human postmortem brain tissue to directly identify 12 h rhythms in the human brain and animal/cell models to investigate the mechanisms underlying our findings.
