Diversity and Inclusion

The McClung Lab is committed to maintaining and celebrating our inclusive and diverse environment that supports and promotes the scientific research that we do.

Across all areas of training and career development, we strive to provide equity of opportunities for people of all backgrounds. We believe that diversity in viewpoints leads to better science, and that when we grow together, we build strong foundations for future professional careers.

Together with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh, our lab is engaged in listening and promoting the voices of our BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and other under-represented minorities, as well as first-generation scientists.
